London to Beijing: A Dance Travelogue

This film follows a group of young dancers from North London to Beijing where they meet a group of Chinese performing arts students. Glimpses of their journey are captured through their own video footage and on return they reflect on their experiences through poetry performed to camera.

The result is a moving meeting of cultures through poetry and dance as well as being snapshot of Beijing in 2008.

Poetry written by students, working in collaboration with Adisa the Verbalizer.
